Final Statement Of Intent

My project is about an insane scientist, who does experiments on humans. He kidnaps them in the dead of night, and  transports them to undisclosed locations where he brutally tortures others. Many humans had greatly suffered under this scientist, but one person managed to survive, and they managed to escape. The scientist however notices his absence. He then sends a bounty hunter after him, while his experiment is on the run. I meet a narrative resolution by having Hazard( the bounty hunter) will kill the protagonist (Jozef).

The experiment will be called Jozef ;who will wear black shoes, trousers and a black jacket.

The scientist will be called Nelson; who will e wearing a white lab coat.

And the bounty hunter will be Hazard; he'll wear a black jacket with black trousers.

Lighting

I will film during different points of the day, for example I will film during a gloomy time for when the bounty hunter does catch the experiment. i will also film when the sun is up, when the experiment is running away to symbolise different points in the days/ weeks. I'll also film with artificial lighting for the indoors scientist scene.

Locations

I'll film in 2 locations, with 2 scenes being in the same location. One will be an open, grassy, area. Also, the other one will be a science lab.

My project will subvert the stereotypes of Asian teenagers being underrepresented by western media, I will do this by having mainly Asian characters in my project. Because there are BAME characters, its more likely that it will be relatable to a BAME audience. My project will appeal to a young adult/teenagers and I will do this by highlight Class: The scientist will be extremely affluent, which is shown by the equipment in the science lab, but the experiment will be relatively poor, which will be shown by the experiments muddy shoes and trousers.

I will include Propp's character theory;  a protagonist (Jozef), and an antagonist (Nelson).
